There are 5 reshove stacks behind and the BB is very short with 8bbs. This is about the weakest Ace I would be opening UTG without all the reshove stacks . I think I would open fold this.
Now as played the SB is trying to sucker us in slowly getting all the chips in the middle. Have to fold the river here.
I agree with Ralph, his range is super strong here, I prob would've folded to his Cbet, we are way behind and don't have a lot of equity. What are we trying to do when flatting his cbet on the flop?? interesting to know?
It really was a big mistake paying bets. More looking to move after calling, I think I paid for the value of tribet, which was exactly 2x.
It's just too risky to continue after the flop bet unless you have a solid read on his betting. Gotta fold. I would probably just muck pre flop and wait til I'm in position.
We want to have a plan in place with this hand if we're going to call the 3bet. We have position so I don't hate the flat call but we need to be careful, AT does not play well against 3bets. What is the plan with our call? Do we want to hit an ace? Are we floating in hopes that he'll stop the aggression on the turn and we can push him off whatever he has? Either fold pre or fold flop
