3-betting a LAG with 88

Blinds: t450/t900 (7 Players) BB: 7,500
UTG: 76,075
UTG+1: 26,119 (Hero)
MP: 28,825
CO: 12,510
BN: 67,712
SB: 9,576
Preflop (1,350) Hero is UTG+1 with 8 8
UTG raises to 1,800, Hero raises to 5,400, 5 folds, UTG calls 3,600
$5 buyin re-entry tournament. We are still some way from the money.

Villain is the big stack at the table and has been opening a lot of hands (something like 30-40%). The other big stack at the table had been mostly tight/passive. So I 3-bet with 88. Was it a good idea?
Flop (12,920) J 7 J
UTG checks, Hero bets 20,609 and is all in, UTG calls 20,609
This is probably one of the best flops for my hand. Do I c-bet small or go all-in here? Or do I check?
Turn (54,138) J 7 J K
River (54,138) J 7 J K K

What do you think of the play here? I play mostly cash games, am trying to broaden my experience by playing some MTTs once in a while.

The preflop 3bet is perfectly fine if he is opening too much. On that flop you can stack off, but you are better off just betting like 40-50% pot to get value from the hands he is folding to a shove that you have crushed, and then you just jam any turn.
