$2100 wcoop sunday million

Hello everyone I have a few interesting hands that were played today. Would like to hear thoughts.

Hand 1
http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/15979394_1D745D2694
Is river a fold everytime? Can he raise a set for value?

hand 2
http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/15982909_1CB3371E3F
Thought this was a good spot to bluff river after the checks on the turn. Thoughts?

hand 3
http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/15981712_171F8886E6
should i be getting it in? Though this was a good fold not sure though. Even if i was right would just like to know if I should get it in.

1)Nope, no one is raising sets over the river as the hand goes when you're betting so polarized. Btw I think check raising flop is cool.

2) Seems close, I tend to not to bluff this spot cause I think CO overcalling range should be fairly strong, although If we think a bit deeper on it, he never has QT you block KQ and AQ prob 3bets pre. Btn is giving up almost always here but I think you could get a better price on the bluff here, I think it has kinda same effect against given ranges

3) Just a brilliant fold, not the easiest to make, but given the action and 3way helps a bit I guess :D UTG having 88 nd JJ with 100% freq and stacking off against a pretty strong range seems the way to go

1) Turn and riv seem kind of spewy to me, since we block Qx heavily on this board I think we should consider checking turn. There's not a ton we can get value from by betting turn, 9x w/diamond, TT/JJ w/diamond, JTxd, set-over-set but that occurs so infrequently. If we do bet turn which seems ok we def. need to check riv IMO, or at least block bet for a much smaller sizing than 1.7k into 2.25. As played snap folding to the raise OTR.

2) I kind of like bluffing riv since we rep. all of the flopped sets here whereas neither Villain can really rep. them after flop/turn action. However since their perceived ranges are pretty weak here and our line looks fairly strong I wouldn't size so big, think something like 2.5k would be fine.

3) Fold pre, we're in too early a position to profitably set-mine given the possibility of getting squeezed from players behind. As played post def. fold to that action ott, the only hand UTG plays this way is a higher flopped set. But why on earth are we checking the flop?? For one thing the c/c looks a lot stronger than leading into the pot when checked to, for another thing we miss value a lot when flop checks through and turn is an OC to the board that lets Villains' Jx get away from the hand.

1st. Qd93d, flop sizing is small to the SPR but still fine. On this board, once your block the top of his three streets call range, the 2d turn is a decent pivot in terms of equity (specially when 2d is the less frequent card on his dd range) given he only calls KJ/JT/dd as floats and he may not even have 100% of the offsuit combos. X/c turn and x/c rivers depending on his sizing. As played he needs to turn JdTx/JxTd hands into a bluff, but considering he may have on the 35-45 combos of flushes OTR and is not raising worse for value this deep, QQ doesn't seem a good bluff catcher. AdQx would be a better one.

2nd. I consider KQ strong enough to value bet so I may bet smaller, but it is pretty std.

3rd. With this many people behind, folding pre seems better. Disciplined fold.

  1. exhibit more control x/c x/c probably best line depending on sizing.

  2. fine line, less sizing accomplishes same.

  3. fold pre, great fold post tho....tough
