$150 Live MTT - Squeeze shoving 25 bbs in the BB
This is not a hand from me but a friend just wanted me to post it
Blinks 4/8k
Ante 300
MP (200k)active guy, opens 21k, BTN(very loose calling station but not crazy) flats 21k, sb flats 21k, Hero(190k eff) pick up the 22.
6.8 to 1 on a call
So here we got 3 options
1)Fold. (The one I choose)
2)Call
3)Shove (The one my friend choose)
It is a deepstack tournament with 1 hour levels, I can see this shoving being very profitable and we have pretty good equity against calling ranges but many other reasons makes me go for folding.

Call or fold. Shove is just way over the top.
Raphael right. I'd choose call 100% of the time here. I'd be confident in saying I don't even think 66 is a shove in this spot.
i ran this in icmizer and it obv depends on the exact ranges. the sb call looks like a hand which has good playability or 22-99 but isnt strong enough to 3bet/c or to call our shove(i guess 77-99 could call us,depending on how loose he perceives us and his stacksize).
his stacksize would be interesting too. but if we have no reads on him its kinda difficult.
i gave the active player a 25% range and the station a 35% range and then its 33+. if mp is looser deuces become a shove too.
with the sb in the hand its 55+. but i discounted qq+ in his range.
I dont even think calling is good, take a look at the pot odds we are getting, and we can basically never overset anyone, so I have a hard time believing we are making money by calling here
It also almost the odds we need to flop a set and considering stack utility on soft fields this bb invested doesn't seem a poor choice. Closing the action I'd call, on the SB it is a muck.
if the sb wasnt in the hand i wouldnt mind squeezing if they are both pretty wide. if we have no reads on the sb i would also call or if we know he is loose too, but doesnt call allins for a big chunk of his stack with weaker hands.
if we have those reads on all of them, why not getting a nice over 50% stack increase with all that deadmoney or still flipping against a huge part of their calling range.
as rapha said we nearly got our 15:1 implied odds in a 4way pot and closing the action. folding isnt an option here imo
for me it really depends alot on the villians and if they have all pretty wide ranges and stacksizes which we can hurt, i´ll go for the squeeze and take the 50% stack increase
Correct me if Im wrong but we are getting 6,8:1 on a call preflop, while we should be getting 7,5:1, also Rapha what do exactly mean by stack utility?
