Hi,

Wondering what u guys think about this hand.

http://www.boomplayer.com/en/poker-hands/Boom/5620171_E8F7117B01

My reasoning at that time for my line was:

3bet pre and cbet are std imo the turnbet is debatable (check behind might be better) but I chose for which I thought was a light value/protection bet vs kx pair+fd's. When he like minraises me I was like what would he raise there didn't believed it at first sight so I called and river I thought yea all the fd's missed and every ax splits except ak/a7. So I called. Kind of curious what you guys think about my thought process and if you liked how I played the hand or if you think I totally misplayed the turn/river. T

Thanks in advance.

I think betting the turn is fine but I would fold to the c/r. You have no outs vs any of his value range, he will likely continue with his bluffs on river and he has very few one club combos that make any sense. Like you said turn is debatable meaning it is right at the bottom of your value range so it makes sense from that perspective to fold it to a raise also.

i think we should be a bit more polarized with regards to our turn betting range than A3, although,  clearly if you can induce such nonsense by him bet-calling and calling rivers will be good though. i dont think he should be playing anything for value with this line and river was just an unfortunate bink

i think if we are bet-folding A3 on the turn here we will be betting far too often and folding far too much of our range to a cr or the river bet

I agree w/ Stevie, I also think if I bet the turn i'd check back a lot of rivers.  I don't think we bet folding the turn too much if we bet fold A3. We will have enough semibluffs that are getting priced into call or two pairs, sets, pair with clubs etc. that folding A3 w/o a club is fine.
