$10 Bovada MTT 19 bigs- Standard?
250/500 50 ante, 8 handed right now.
Hand 1 -
Hero has 7,300 before posting in sb, with 1010
Villain in HJ opens to 1,300 off of 12,300 stack
Hero shoves and gets through.
Hand 2- Very next hand
Hero 9,415 on Button, same hand 1010, Same villain opens to 1,250 off of 11,000 now
Hero??
I shoved which I think is standard. Just kinda strange dynamic being 2 hands in a row shoving. I don't think I can do much else with 19bbs?

Bump
You're being results oriented here. There's 2250 in the pot and you very likely have the best hand and he's less inclined to believe you because now you're in position against him. You have an opportunity to increase your stack by 20% when the shove gets through and much more than that if you get called. You do get called by worse pretty often here.
I think it's fine to jam here only, I mean villain can only call us off with 7.84% of his range (77+, ATs+, KQs, AJo+) if he thinks we are jamming light. If you have more reads on Villain and want to reduce variance I would consider 3bet and fold to a 4bet jam
Does 3betting to fold reduce variance though? We'd be putting in 1/3-1/2 of our stack and can be getting shoved on with AJs+, 88+, maybe even wider than that. We just shoved on him so its very possible that he's going to be more inclined to fight back, which would just make our fold worse.
I agree with tdogger here i think because of your previous jam your more likely to get called by worse.
