Clarification / Examples Needed About Selective C-Betting
In the 'selective vs. unselective cbetting" video, it's pretty clear which hands to value bet, but how do we know where to draw the line between the check-call range and the bluff range?
Can anyone provide some sort of framework for how to categorize hands here?

Clarke recommends bucketing our hands into one of four categories when we are the preflop aggressor but see a flop that equalizes the Range Advantage we had preflop.
Betting Categories*
Value Bets - these are our strongest holdings that will get called by Villain's worse. Self explanatory per your post.
Bluffs - these are going to be non-made hands that lack showdown value but contain a strong amount of robust equity and have a chance to improve on many runouts. It's important we aren't bluffing with zero equity because when our preflop range advantage disappears, our opponent is going to be able to find a lot of defends vs. our cbet and we don't want to be drawing dead when that happens. So these will often be our OESDs, flush draws, gutshot + two overs type hands that are happy to garner folds but still have a chance to make the best hand when called
Checking Categories*
SDV Hands - these are going to be our made hands that aren't strong enough to bloat the pot with and go for multiple streets of value vs. our opponent. Checking these is better than betting them because it keeps Villain's range wide and may induce bluffs on later streets, getting V to put more money into the pot with a hand he would have released had we c-bet.
Air - these are the hands we're giving up on. These are our non-made hands that have little prospects for improvement or equity and thus we will not put any more money into the pot with them barring some very fortunate runouts.
Sizing will be larger than our unselective, 100% range bet on favorable flops for us. This is because both types of hands we are betting on these selective boards do well with larger sizings -- value bets like larger sizing because it earns more money when Villain calls; our high-equity bluffs like large sizing because they garner more folds (and even when called, we can still get lucky and win a big pot by hitting our draw).
Thank you so much for clarifying, Regarding the bluffs, wouldn't betting every single gutshot and flush draw result in too high a frequency making it profitable for the opponent to call more? Or am I wrong?
How does this all change OOP? Should the cbet frequency be lower? (Apologies if this is covered in a later video, I have only gotten to the bet sizing special and rewatching things multiple times.)
Hey, did you ever find an answer to this? And/or how would you answer this now that you're 5 months wiser in the game? I came looking for more info on the same topic as i'm just going through the videos now.
