Zoom200 ++ challenge
Hi, lately i have been struggling with my volume as i played only 57 hours last month combined with 60hours of studying.
averaging 30 hours weekly.
in general i play either 4tables of zoom. or time to time 3-4 tables of higher limits 500-1000.
i will be be updating this thread every week.
goal is to play 100hours this month + 40-50 hours studying.
starting now.(4.5.2023,00:00)

Good luck bro! I will definitely follow.
Half way through first week.
hands: 12000
studied hours: 4,5h
played:18h
i found myself way more motivated playing these reg battles in order to push myself to beat these guys. rather than comfortably play z200 i always give priority to 3-4max 5/10 than 200.
I should work on some warm up, as sometime i just instantly jump into the game and playing B game.

It has been tough first week.
played: 26hours (+ 10 hours of MTTs)
studied: 7hours
i was really unfocused and playing B-game, lot of autopiloting especially on z200. a had to take 1day break on Wednesday as i felt really unmotivated to even play and was forcing my self to play on Tuesday/Monday. I am considering to drop z200 / minimum play and just to study when the games are not running. This was working out for me last month.
Also i feel that i am struggling in some spots, and on certain board structures.
so my plan for next week is to play around 15 hours and put in 20hours of studying.

loosing my pace at the moment.
will try to recover in next week as i am quite busy lately.
played only 11hours this week, and studied 5hours so far
first time in really long time where i felt that i was scared to run a bluff in 2k game. so will probably not play those games for now.
i was running really good in 5/10 games. i am still pretty bad but somehow other regs are even worse than me and are donating money to me.

random spazz by reghttps://gyazo.com/9a7adefb6a9f54615a22b5474bf915de
Hi bro! Im just curious. Why would you even bother to play NL200z if you clearly have BR to play higher stakes?
GL with your challenge!
PS: The last hand you shared "random spazz by reg" was actually a GTO play according to Wizard GTO.
At z200 i can just 3x table with hourly being around 80$
Dont have any decent sample at 500+ but given that the games are not running or table is braking all the time it wont be huge difference. But swings will be way smaller. As you can just easily swing 10k in 1session.
-98o hand. First second i thought its not that bad. as 9x hands are the hands that check raise turn and run it on river but 8 seems like a terrible card to have as majority of my hands you want to put pressure on is A8o dont really have J8o here too often so x/r hand like 93s seems probably better. And second i think you will have hard time holding your frequency if you run it here with 98o.
reflection time:
i think it is very important to always know where your game is - were are you strong, and what do you dont understand well. it is very easy to be blinded either by your stakes or your results.
for example - someone playing z500 can say wow i am really good at this and stop working that hard. or you can be very self-critical and say i am so far behind the guys that are playing 2k and higher.
same goes with results. people usually dont want to improve at all if they are making money but when they struggle they start studying because they have no other choice.
i will try to reflect on my self:
even tho i didnt play that much at 1k, i think i am doing well in most lineups against regs that play only up to 1k most of them are bumhunters and are not playing aggresively at higher games.
however once i start playing against guys that play 1k as their smallest stakes i can see the difference. they are way ahead of me and that drives me.
what are my technical leaks? not even close turn and river aggresion once i get into passive line.
bad range construction on rivers.
outside game leaks: i am not consistent, one week i can study 25hours and second week i will do only 8-10hours. i study mainly when i have my target infront of me which is now to play 2k games(or players that play those games).
yesterday i played interesting hand.

what did i take from this hand- yes the hand seems extremly spewy but its coming from very strong regular that usually doesnt even bohter playing these stakes.
so whats the idea behind his play? i believe he thinks people dont construct check backing ranges and delaying ranges, and are overfolding in these lines and he cant getaway with really high aggression.
and it will be one of upcoming spots i want to take a look.
Day 18
challenge so far
Played - 55hours
studied. 20hours
i will probably fail this challenge this month.
will try to finish at least this month strong, play 3hours a day + 2 hours study (30hours per week)

should probably just stop playing z200:D i dont make money there.
Good luck man :)
time to wrap this challenge.
played 70hours --- at the start of challenge the volume was good thanks to z200, but couldnt push myself to play those games as my focus is quite bad in those games.after first 1-2 weeks dropped zoom and played only 5/10 i think the enviroment at 5/10 is much better smaller rake, bunch of regulars is playing outside of their comfort zone, and also they havent adjusted their strat to smaller rake.
Studied -- 30hours, failed bit but will catch up this month as i finally get to moved to my new flat. had terrible conditions for studying last month unfortunately. didnt really improve that much.
I am quite curious how is gonna Meta change with the Ruse becoming part of GTO wizard, lot of my friends are quite horrified by this . could be wrong but i dont really think it changes the game that much --- correct me if i am wrong, but ruse is just super fast PIO. (similar results) , PIO has been around for 5-6 years, but most regs didnt use PIO to maximum potential.
