If you look at a 30 day sample and 1 tournament there's obviously going to be tons of variance.
I don't mean to offend you, but I'm not sure if you're serious or is this a joke.
If this is a joke then good job, I like your sense of humor! :D
If not: like James said, 30 day sample and 1 tournament does not tell anything about the long term results.
Phil Galfond is still a very good player! Even the best players have those 30 day downswings.
Plus its only 6k hands - not even a true 30 day sample probably 6 or 7 sessions at some nosebleed stake. Didn't Phil make a couple deep runs at this years WSOP?
Definitely not rude at all to make a thread in which you're shtting on the owner of the website.
"Is it just variance that poker player have to accept?"
We never know for certain, which is why the profession is so hard. And when it happens to any one of us, it's nice to have the respect and support of our friends and the community.
You chose a different approach, and I refer you to the Rule of George:

The HSPLO games on Stars aren't tracked, which is what 90% of Phils videos are about.
So nobody but him really knows how he's been doing, and it's really rude to discuss that.
And those losses are mostly 27TD losses.
The thread starter is clearly not a native english speaker and it's probable that he's not trolling. From previous posting activity, he clearly associates winning the most with being 'the best' at poker. This entire mindset is incorrect due to it being basically 100% results-oriented thinking.
Basically "daegyung", stuff happens in poker that is out of our control (variance). This has a large impact on how much we win or lose not just how good we are. Phil cpuld still be among the top players in the world even though he has been losing recently.
