Took down my first 4 max yesterday for 792 dollars. Felt great to finally have some acknowledgement of my skill versus the field! 
I would highly recommend others to "skill up" using 4 max tournaments especially towards theory to practical for blind play, btn vs CO 3betting and making marginal calls.
