Win Rate for $2/5 NL Professional
Hey guys,
What should be the $ per hour win rate to make it as a Professional? How many winning sessions should you have versus losing? My report has me making $50.00 an hour and cashing about 70% of the time, all this over a duration of 105 hours this year.
Is this good enough to make it? Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

short answer:
depends on your living expenses and savings.
depends on average session length but doesn't really matter.
no.
medium answer:
105 hours lol. at 30 hands/hr you've played 3,150 hands. get to 500-1000 hours before you even start thinking about what your true win rate might be.
if you can calculate your std. dev. you can use this calculator to get an idea of the range of outcomes you can expect of 3150 hands:

here''s a good post on calculating standard deviation for live sessions of different lengths:

your current win rate is definitely attainable for the best regs in good 2/5 games. but no offense, if you are making this post with 100 hours under your belt you shouldn't be confident that you are one of them.
