Which field is softer?
Hello, I would like to start playing poker again part time and I have one question for you guys. How do you think which field is softer in micro limits 6max PLO or NLH?

I definitely think NLHE is softer at the micros but that could be because I have played a lot of NLHE and I'm just starting PLO. I think you get a lot of occasional recreational players at NLHE because it's easier to pick up
All games are soft at the micros. Rake is also something to consider. Micro PLO rake is brutal, but don't let that stop you from learning the game. :-)
Thank you guys.
Play whatever you think is fun, but focus on one game instead of both. If it wasn't for rake in PLO I would say PLO probably got a softer field asfaik. Seems easier to go from NLHE -> PLO than the opposite however, so starting with NLHE if you're still unsure is probably fine.
PLO is definitively softer at the micro in terms of average opponent skills. However as previous stated rake is huge and you need a larger bankroll compared to NLHE to get trough the swings.
PLO is way softer and actions is better, so if youre not a NL specialist (im guessing not), and still learning, i`d go with Omaha.
Could someone recommend books/articles/videos where I could learn mathematic's of poker?
"The mathematics of poker" is a good book to learn the mathematics of poker :)
A good introduction to poker mathematics is "Poker Math that Matters" by Owen Gaines. Then after you have a good grasp of the basics, "The Mathematics of Poker" by Bill Chen is the definitive guide.
You can read Poker by the Book by John Anhalt creator of Leak Buster which has some amazing content to learn about the mathematic's of poker.
