Winning Poker
EDIT: This post is old an it was when I was during my first real downswing. I guess I just wanted to kind of answer my own question here. It takes good technical poker skills, as well as mental, and emotional control. In my opinion, technical poker skill may be the least important of the three at least for the micro stakes.
I am having a break even stretch at 50NL in my 6th month of playing poker full time. I am a winner in my first 5 months but I feel as if I can't win a single flip, and its just sooo frustrating. This stretch has forced me to question my game. What even makes a winning cash game player? Maybe my thinking process in poker is wrong somehow.
