What book are you reading right now?
Hi!
Simple thread.
I love books and want to know what are you reading right now (poker related or not). You can also suggest me a great book you have read in the past.
The book I am reading right now is The Elephant in the Brain: Hidden Motives in Everyday Life (a book like Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions and Thinking Fast and Slow, 2 excellents books to).
Let me know!

Nassim Taleb's books are very good, especially Fooled by Randomness and The Black Swan.
Just out the works of the following authors also:
- Mark Manson
- Malcolm Gladwell
- Gary John Bishop
I'm a big fan of Nassim. If you like Nassim, maybe you will like Nate Silver and his classic, The Signal and the Noise.
Nate Silver should also a well-known 2p2 poster if I can recall right
Yes he is!
The Last Question by Isaac Asimov is probably my all time favourite short story! Very short read and you can find it for free online.
I'm patiently (or impatiently) waiting for Bill Perkins "Die with Zero".
“The art of war” have many insights on war and it is also applicable to poker.
I didn't like that book because so hard to understand. I'm pretty sure book is great and your English need to be very good to fully cover topics in that book.
Right now finishing Machiavelli ''Prince'', pretty decent if you fan of ''The art of war''
Think and grow rich from Napoleon Hill, I'm reading a bunch of entrepreneur stuff, this is a good recommendation for everyone
Just finished Rival Caesers by Desmond Dilg. Great book. Fictional account of the Burr/Hamilton duel. Before that was This Ugly Civilization by Ralph Borsodi. That one is kind of back-to-the-land manifesto. It's critical of industrialization and capitalism without advocating Socialism or Communism. It was written in the 1920s or 1930s, but is extremely relevant today. If you're critical of society but hesitant to embrace Socialism or Communism I highly recommend it.
Currently reading Give me a Break by John Stossel. Another great book.
The past year or so I've been reading a lot of Benjamin Decasseres, Malfew Seklew, Spinoza, and Dora Marsden.
