Video suggestion
Hi
I'd like to see a mentor series where an MTT player teaches another player how to get better.
I want to emphasise: not a beginner series but a good player being leakfound to potentially turn into a v good player.
(If there was a series already made along these lines, would be happy if you could point me in the direction instead.)

To follow up: where there are audio contributions by both parties on an ongoing basis rather than a 1-off leakfinder by the pro :)
Hey ralphcig789! I can recommend you to check out this videos series where one of our coaches reviews Aram Zobian's final stages of the WSOP Main Event with Aram joining the video:
WSOP Main Event Hand Review w/ Aram Zobian
WSOP Main Event Hand Review w/ Aram Zobian (part 2)
Here's another session where an interactive coaching session is presented with the student on the video.
You can also filter for 'MTT' and 'ProView' in the video library and find a vast selection of Leakfinder videos here:
Leakfinder Filter
Whilst most of them are not with the student joining, I believe that for some of them the student joined the session too.
I hope that you find some valuable content in these and we're happy to keep these types of videos coming so thanks for your suggestion!
Not sure if these is exactly what you're looking for but I enjoyed them. Worth a look at least.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Another q (if any1 can help): are there any theory vids specifically for MTT's that will give me help in understanding slight variations on structures (and potential adjustments in strategies required) -rebuys -pko's -2nd chances etc etc?
Even if the resources are not on runitonce. As much as I would like at this stage of my career to easily grasp every nuance of the game, I still need assistance :(
Hey ralphcig789!
With regards to different structures / variations of MTTs here are some suggestions.
If you want to learn more about how PKOs differ from the traditional freezeout format I'm sure checking out Pedro Madeira's series on this subject will help you:
Comparing Ranges - Freezeout vs. PKO (part 1-3) (Pedro Madeira)
If you're specifically interested in PKOs then browsing Pedro's library will hand you much more content on PKO and how to tackle the different situation there: from opening ranges / jamming ranges / postflop play almost everything comes up in his multiple live play PKO series.
Specifically for ICM investigations of Bounty tournaments Owen Shiels also has you covered:
ICM Bounty Investigations (Owen Shiels)
You can also find all this comfortably in one place in the Learnin Paths -> MTT -> PKOs
In Owen's video MTT Game Selection Owen also talks quite a bit about different MTT formats / player pools where I could imagine you can find some useful information.
Owen further has a series on a $11 Rebuy event where I'm sure he goes over some strategic adjustments in critical situations or even a lower stake version with a focus on exploiting ($5 Rebuy: Lots of Donks). Similarly, Jeremy Menard discusses a $200 Rebuy event here in a 3-part series.
Our Elite coaches Dylan Linde and Sam Grafton also each have videos on Rebuy events:
6-Max $100 Rebuy (Dylan Linde)
$109 Rebuy (Sam Grafton)
I think it's a great idea to maybe get a comprehensive video on general strategy adjustments in the future to summarize the most important things but I hope that the selection above will already be valuable to you for adjusting your strategy.
Also any videos that focus on MTT maths eg ev calculations in a hand?
I'm looking to go deeper into tournament theory. I've been around the site for a long time but haven't seen any of these vids before.
For EV calculations during a hand you can readily extend your video search to general NLHE too unless you're specifically interested in ICM which is another topic then. The general EV calcs for a hand in MTT and NLHE cash shouldn't differ from the theoretical point.
Apotheosis has two fantastic videos on this concept:
EV Calculations (Apotheosis)
Multi-Street EV Calculations (Apotheosis)
His video Introduction to Poker Fundamentals might also be of great use here.
Tom Coldwell similarly covers this topic:
Calculating EV (Tom Coldwell)
Apart from that and on a slightly more general level I can also highly praise Steve Paul's Math You Should Know series. Here he covers the theory background on Combinatorics, Game Theory and Variance.
Thanks for the 2 replies eldora.
They were v v helpful :)
