I understand the reasons why we aren't allowed to download videos, but there should be an option in the online player to stream the video at 1.25 and 1.5x speed. I've done this before from other sites from which you were allowed to download videos, and it's pretty awesome. After a couple of minutes there is pretty much no noticeable difference, but if you watch a lot of videos then getting through an hour long one in 40 minutes helps a lot.
I know there is some frustration with not having the video speed option available yet, but I assure you this is in the queue to be implemented sooner rather than later. We have started the process for better video delivery and having the videos play at a different speed is in the mix with that. We really appreciate the patience.
Have you considered allowing downloads at a fee-- (like x$/video or something, on top of the sub)? I'm in Korea, with badass as fuck internet, but today streaming videos from runitonce seems almost impossible - nonstop buffering. And yesterday, for half the day I was getting errors saying 'couldn't connect to server' instead of displaying a video...
Wasn't an issue when I had an essential sub since there weren't that many videos I watched, but now with elite... paying 100$ to experience this much inconvenience watching is annoying.
We have servers in various locations throughout the world. What is supposed to happen is that based on your location, it is automatically determined where to serve the videos from. In your case, we have a large server base in Tokyo, but we noticed that for some reason the video is being served up from Maryland in the US. We are looking more into the issue and we apologize for the annoyance this may be causing.

Huh that's strange, but I'm very glad to hear that it's not supposed to work like that lol

yes please implement, probably sth like 1.2x, 1.4x, 1.6x, 1.8x and 2x, i usually watch vids at 1.4x
