Trying to improve, help?

So I just deposited for the first time on Carbon for $20 and after a few days of playing $1/2 Sit N Go's I have busted my bank roll. In the summer I played on Lock and I took a $30 deposit up to about $120, but for some reason I can't seem to cash consistently in the Sit N Go's on Carbon.

My question is, what should I do differently? In a bit I'm hoping to play more MTT's but they don't really have many of those for the lower stakes so I want to build up my roll. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help.

"I want to build up my roll" focus on this. Google poker bankroll management or BRM. Understand that in poker even if we play perfectly we do not always win and we define these swings of unlucky losses or lucky wins as "variance". By having a proper bankroll management system we are able survive through negative variance swings before our bankroll is cleaned out. For example, playing at a 100nl cash game table 6max I generally have around 50buyins prepared. I can potentially lose up to 1k in one day on a really bad day, both tilt and just getting sucked out on. But on average I'm winning ~200 a day. So in simple math I can take 5 really bad day losses, but I on average win ~200 and am able to win more than I lose etc... something like that lol hope it helps. But this is where you really need to start, probably one of the most important things in poker or you'll keep busting your roll and keep thinking your doing something wrong when maybe in fact you are not :)

Oh yeah the recommended buyin for every game type is different btw. A 6max sng turbo may only require a 40buyin roll but playing 6max hypers may require a 70. The same goes for cash games a 6max may require 50buyins, but Heads up 80. These numbers are not accurate, just something to get my point across.
