subscribing to threads

can you guys add a function by which we can subscribe to threads... or an auto function where the thread is auto subscribed to when we make a post in that thread?

thanks... they are on what? they are turned on? I dont see any edit function except for the original post.

Hi Schu,

To edit a post you made just click on the title and there will be an "Edit Post" button at the top. You cannot currently edit comments you have made on a post but you can delete comments by clicking the garbage can that appears when you mouseover a comment you have made.

With regards to subscribing to threads, we're still working out the best way to approach this. What will likely happen is any thread you have posted or commented on which receives a comment will be shown on your feed.

@Dan: can you put some kind of sticky or readme or FAQ, somewhere in plain sight, I was looking for the same things ( subscription and edit, even the "add comment" works in a not that obvious way ) and probably other users as well, over time they will get buried deep in the forum and most new users will struggle with the same issues.

sorry, meant "no edit" for comments ... come on, this is a basic feature in any web forum these days, is this new software that is under development or off-the-shelf solution ? Can't imagine you can't edit your own comments ...

seems the site is using jQuery, there are a several editable JQuery plugins, most common seem to be :
