Like many successful poker players, such as David Williams and Run It Once's own Uri Peleg, Shaun 'lIlCitanul' Pauwels first discovered his love for card games playing Magic The Gathering. When his friends transitioned to poker, Shaun decided to follow suit and sold his MTG collection to fund his poker bankroll.

Though he gathered much of his early experience playing in live games, he quickly discovered a love for studying poker. In an effort to improve his play, he joined the Run It Once Training community and before long, he was taking top spots on our community leaderboard and grinding his way up to 100 NL online.
