Michiel "easterdamz" Van Elsacker's first introduction to poker was watching the WSOP Main on Youtube when he was around 11 years old. He began dabbling online, slowly learning the nuance of the game though never taking it very seriously. When he was 19, a friend invited him to a home game which is where he interest in the game deepened and he started studying the game with more intensity and learning all he could particularly from streamers on Twitch. The cycle of broke to winning repeated itself time and again but proved to be a worthwhile endeavor as it gained him the experience he would need for future success.

In 2021, Michiel was able to find a balance between poker and life and this has proved beneficial for his success at the tables. His first video features a typical session for him and gives a taste of what is to come from future videos.
