RIO pros ERA7ER and EluSiveMark playing during boycott

Hi,

just wondering what some players rationale is to play during this period of strike against ridiculous changes from Pokerstars. The 2 mentioned players are (I think) SNE themselves so I just cant quite comprehend why they take getting shit on by Pokerstars and then themselves shit on striking regs efforts who are trying to get at least some changes reversed. Obviously the more players actually strike the more effective it becomes for everybody. I feel like the players palying during strike are showing pokerstars how self serving, short.sighted and spineless some players can be which in turn means Amaya can just do whatever they want which will ruin all players chances of making money in future.

makes me sad....

It is quite disconcerting to see NL1k / NL500 regulars (who will be heavily impacted next year) continue playing, but you can thank the Pokerstars VIP program for that. Teunuss is sitting at 918k VPP according to his blog which is already cutting it close if you don't want to play on Christmas and sylvester.

As much as I see players who think striking in the next year is more effective, it's also a cop out. I regularly take weeks or months off at the beginning of the year because I'm in no hurry to get VPPs.

I am striking now when it hurts me the most, the games are probably great and I still have VPPs to chase but for next year I will probably just play whenever I feel like it and not participate.

I admire the strike and i would participate if i could. But the thing is; I am behind schedule for SNE. With the milestone of 20k its not a wise decision for me to skip a few days and take a risk of not getting it. I've got kids and i want to be able not grinding all day during holidays. Which for me is more important atm.

As for me and stars. If things stay the way stars told us then my volume next year will shift a whole lot to other sites. So it's not like stars can do whatever they want and expect everybody to keep playing there.
