Poker in the Netherlands
I'm contemplating going to live in the netherlands (I'm a french citizen, so I don't believe I need a permit or anything do I?), and I was wondering if anybody knew the state of poker there. You do have access to .com websites right? How are the poker rooms in, say, Amsterdam? How are poker players treated?
In France fiscal pressure is huge, the poker market is compartimented (we have to play on french websites), rake is big. I was wondering how much taxes dutch poker players are faced with. I'm not opposed to pay taxes, needless to say ; just want to know how it goes there.
Any advice to those regards appreciated!
