PLO Solver - Death of Live Play Videos???
Jnandez has been working with a PLO Solver in his YouTube channel. Is it going to revolutionise PLO like PIO did to NL? If so, why are we watching Viktor Luis make mistake after mistake?

you mean Monkersolver (not PIO)?
Yes Sensei.
i think he meant PLO solver,
that would be monkersolver :-)
And, yes, its gonna be revolution :-D
Jnandez is a big fish. He openfolds a top 12% hand UTG+1. Why are YouTubers watching Jnandez make mistake after mistake?
Tight is right.
Maybe because he is a big winner in the games he is streaming/coaching? Viktor and Jonna isn't.
Open folding A478ds is not a super big mistake here, I think...
Rather than that, criticizing him by raising things like "top12%" & "UTG+1" sound somewhat funny to me.
When grinding forums all day for $100 a month is higher EV than playing ^^ #ChatterTheory
lolx :-)
DId he label himself? ! ha, ill pick purple for myself, ill go label now :D
Well I must say, I'm convinced
Fold. Unless there is a big fish in the blinds. Ultra-tight micro siege mentality.
Just curious, I'm looking around but I haven't found blogs, vlogs, articles etc. continuously talking about the latest omaha GTO.
Do you guys have any lists?
Monkerware as previously mentioned, but besides that I have heard of Simple Omaha which I believe is in beta and then whenever PIO decides to release a solver which seems to be inevitable. No idea on the date though. Interesting thread for sure. I think eventually the PLO solvers may end up doing to PLO what NL solvers have done to that game, but I think it's also possible that it takes longer as player pools in general are much further along in NL. Solvers obviously expedite the process though, so I guess we will see.
Hey Nick, I do also believe that there will be 3 of omaha solvers, Monker, PIO and Simple. Considering current domination of PIO in NLHE scene, I want to wait for the news from PIO team and will decide which program I will jump in.
Recently I talked with some Omaha players around me, and most of them are still doubting GTO's advantage in Omaha scene. Since it "should" be rather complicated and difficult to master GTO way of playing in Omaha than NLEH, they are doubting. I don't know whether I can learn well how to use it, I really want to keep watching.
In which situation do you guys think Omaha solver will help you a lot? Preflop GTO range should be great as Jnandez is talking about (and providing coaching), however, I myself want to specify certain spot, especially on postflop, where GTO solver will exceed "good" small-mid stakes players who don't use/learn GTO at all.
I can't disagree with what those other players said just because of how much more complicated it will in fact be. Preflop I think there may be some surprises as far as what the solvers spit out just from doing some of my own work preflop. I agree though I think maybe specific spots where the community/pool takes a certain action and guys with solvers figure out something more optimal and implement a line/strat that maybe wasn't considered before. Kinda just thinking off the top of my head here, so I'm sure others can come up with some good answers as well.
There are lots of surprises preflop. The solution is no doubt complicated and overwhelming, you need to spend a lot of time to dig through the data.
I believe it can help you in every spots. Nobody is playing near GTO except Danfiu.
Thanks Nick and 500zreg (It looks you know about me, Sensei). It seems it is one of the best ways to learn preflop. Yea, there should be a lot of surprise. I was also surprised to watch Jnandez's streaming, which explained [4b range! AA, AKK].
Today's MVP. This is also informative and interesting.
