I've been watching a lot of PLO content on this website under the essential plan (really hoping I can one day get enough extra money to buy elite) and something I hear an awful lot is "this hand does not do good multi way" or "this hand plays great heads up". I'm sort of lacking an explanation on this but from what I gather high rundown cards seem to be great multi way. Also nut flushes. And in some cases I've seen videos that claimed KK** and QQ** hands are great in a pot with multiple people because you can flop top set and set over set people, but then in other videos I've heard the exact opposite - where it is a good heads up hand but not something you want to be holding in a pot with 2 or 3 other players.

So how exactly do you gauge what hands play better in pots with multiple people? And would 3betting be a valid reason to try and get a hand heads up when it does not do good multi way (like a low rundown hand)?
