One of the most satisfying things about poker
So, I just looked back at some old posts I had made on this forum, Pocketfives, and other poker discussions from a couple of years ago.
At the beginning of this year, I was a winning 10NL player, when I wasn't throwing scissors at my wall when titled.
I viewed 200NL players as devine creatures, sprinkling their subhuman powers on the table.
It was little fun to constantly be worried about busting my undersized bankroll, trying so hard and not being able to figure everything out.
Six months away from online poker, having studied the game and worked on being less angry, here I am beating mid stakes cash games and absolutely loving every minute of playing poker again.
Here I am, thinking about how how I'd love to teach poker at young guns like me, laughing at suckouts, finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
Few times in my short poker career have I been this satisfied. I wish I were a better writer, so I'd do a better job of transferring these feelings to you guys.
Was the whole hassle worth it in the end? I'm not sure yet, but I do look forwards to finding out.
End of random post.
