Hi all, I am very new to the site and would welcome any advice on how to get the best out of using the site, also any posts or videos that you would recommend.

I am mainly playing low stakes cash games but do play some MTTs.

Many Thanks.

P.S Which of the PROs should I follow and are there any members that I should follow ?

Welcome to RIO! You're at the right place to learn!

Follow any pro or members that you like, that's up to you. Usually you'll get to know which members post stuff about NLHE, which post about Omaha, what's their specialty, etc. There's really no rush, do as you wish.

Posting hand histories when you're not sure about your play in certain spots will help you improve your game tremendously. You can also try to answer other member's questions and improve your game that way.

For videos, I'd personally recommend any of the HUNL videos Galfond or Sulsky made a few months back. They're great for improving your understanding your opponents thought process, which can be applied to pretty much anything in poker.

For post, I'd suggest you search whatever you,re interested in and read through the posts that catch your eye. There's a little bit of everything in the forums, you just have to dig a little bit before you find gold.

Here are a few tips and trick about Run It Once (recycled):

-Click "reply" in the lower-right corner of a comment to reply directly to that comment. The user that initially commented on the post will be notified that you replied to his comment, and will be able to answer quicker. If you want to reply to a reply, like this post, just reply to the original comment (in this case, yours).

-Show your appreciation by clicking the little heart icon under a comment. This notifies the user, and gives him 1 point. At the end of the month, the top 5 users who have accumulated points receive a 1 month free Elite subscription to RIO!

-Post your hand histories with fancy graphics by clicking "hand history" when making a new topic. The fancy graphics make the hand easier to understand, and you'll get a better and quicker response to your question.

Welcome! :-)

Impossible to go wrong when choosing videos. I like to select a few coaches and study everything they release. I find it easier to learn when I can absorb the whole game plan of somebody, video by video.

NL player? I'm not familiar with the NL library, but others can tell you where the juiciest bits are there. Beyond that, Sulsky and Galfond are must-see for any stakes and any games.

Great advice from two of our our top forum contributors.  My suggestion would be to try as many of the coaches as possible.  Each coach has their own unique style and inevitably some are going to resonate more with you than others.  Also, I wouldn't necessarily eliminate a coach prior to watching their videos because they don't cover your game/stakes.  As someone who plays primarily PLO, I found Lefort's videos to be awesome even though they were primarily NL theory.
