New guy in class
Hi everybody,
just wanted to briefly introduce myself the the RIO community.
Been playing poker on and of for the last couple of years, but not really been going into depth with my game. Actually always had the idea that I was a somewhat decent microstakes player (dunno if you are actually able to be classified as that - but everything is relative :), with an understanding of the basics.
Was so lucky the other day to get one hour of free coaching as I helped a pro player doing create some stats with Note Caddy in HEM and he "rewarded" me with a free coaching hour... It was... An eye opener to say the least! He completly butchered my game and pointed out several leaks - especially OOP (did not really go into the IP stuff, but that would probably be the same)
The positive is that I now have alot to work on and it can only get better from now on! And I am willing to do something and put alot of effort into this.
And thats also why I joined you guys w. an essential subscription. Seems good value for money - and a site backed by Mr. Galfond himself cannot be to bad :)
I see that alot of the videos are around nl100+, but the theory videos cover all limits. Of course the more advanced stuff can be "to much" on the micros, but it is more the thought process that is important.
I can't seem to find some sort of search function for the videos (dunno if it has been left out on purpose or it is just me, lol) But can you guys recommend any theory vids regarding playing OOP and range construction? I see that Lucas Greenwood has made a couple of vids, but just wanted to hear if it is all good stuff or something that would be better to start of with as I am mostly at the micros (NL10-NL25)?
Thanks for what seems to be a great forum with lots of cool people!
