Math skills to be able to comprehend the book "Mathematics of poker?".
I am thinking about investing time to learn this. I have two questions:
1) Is it a waste of time?
1) What math concepts and level do I need to learn? What level of calculus for an example?
Thank you!

1) No
1) It is not typical calculus, it is a different kind of math. Closer to logic. If you fear math and logic you will need to work hard to understand everything. You will likely understand a bit the first time you read the book, and more the second time etc.
Thank you!
hey its really interesting what you answered,
I am reading the book the second time now and the first time I really tortured myself with it and now its a bit easier I am not totally helpless anymore, but I realized that I have to take math class to Understand that book, so I have been hiring a math teacher to learn this. In the beginning of this book they wrote that highschool Algebra ist enough and now you are saying its closer to Logic , can you recommend some books in Logic which can Help me to understand this book?
If your goal just is to acquire a rigorous understanding of the way game theory applies to poker then you might also consider more recent resources that are more convivial and practical without sacrificing any rigor to clarity of exposition. I am thinking especially of Will Tipton's Expert Heads Up No Limit Hold'Em, volumes 1 and 2; and Andrew Brokos' Play Optimal Poker, and Play Optimal Poker 2.
Brokos is great!
It’s not really logic in a classic mathematical sense. It is basic high school algebra - mostly solving simultaneous equations (but applied tersely and with the application foremost in the mind).
