Math behind Poker vs Autopilot mode

Hey all,

I have had some troubles with maths lately, making the conversions from ratio- %- fraction to check if I'm doing profitable calls and so on regarding odds and pot odds that i used to do before with every hand ! I really love that part of poker but seems that i have gone lately on autopilot, whenever someone bets and i think its a "profitable" call I'm just calling off without checking the maths !

Im i getting use to poker and some situations where i know its O K to make the call ? or have i been lazy and i lost the ability i used to have? if so please would u give me some exercises, books or something i can do to be back at my old thinking process and don't feel like I'm having troubles with this aspects ?

thanks in advance

Do the math off the table and apply your conclusions while playing. It's usually more important to figure out what kind of range villain is betting (e.g. meged, polar and bluff heavy or polar with few bluffs etc).
