Making a Youtube Channel that's a BR Challenge on Bovada
As I'm sure you gathered from the title I am creating a YouTube Channel that is going to be a BR Challenge on Bovada where I am going to try to grind a BR from $2,500 to $30,000 by the en of this year. I am goin to be starting at 200NL bc I actually have 6k in my BR if I did just so happen to bust that $2,500. I know it is an aggressive start to this project but I feel confident in my approach and if things go bad and I do go bust the first shot I will drop down to 100NL and try it from there.
Basically the reasoning behind this is to keep me in check and remind myself that I am not a full time professional and making an extra 25k in a year would be amazing. I don't need 100k a year to live or anything.(Even though 100k extra would be amazing) That isn't priority right now. I just want to continue to learn and grow as a player. I think doing thee videos and almost feeling like I am playing on someone else's money I hope will help me to keep from spewing and tilting to much bc I feel an obligation to myself and the Channel to accomplish what I set out to do.
I wouldn't mind getting up some kind of a prop bet if anyone would be interested. I would take action if someone doesn't think I can do it. I'm not talking anything crazy bet but if someone wanted to be 5k or lower I'd be game. Basically I would have to profit a minimum of $27,500 by January 1st 2015 in order to win the bet. I can play any stakes I want but would understand if someone wanted like a hand limit in place. I couldn't promise more than 15k hands per month but would promise I would play a minimum of 10k hands per month. Anyway, it was just a thought. I'm sure I won't get any serious takers but it would be cool if I did even if it was only for a few hundred bucks. Just the action I think would help me grind out some steady wins and just keep trying to move my BR forward.
Well wish me luck and here is a link to the YouTube Channel. I haven't even don anything to it besides start the page. I haven't put any art on it or whatever. It has a description of what my guidelines I am trying to follow are and a link to this amazing training site that I owe a ton of my success in poker too. Remember I am just starting the page so I expect to have it going full blast within 2 weeks and posting around 5 videos per week. Each video lasting about 1 hour.
