Looking for some information before I join R.I.O

Hey guys,

I've been a losing poker player for 5-6 years. I'm looking to learn how to play NLHE. I've heard that online cash is very dry and that if I am going to dedicate myself to learning NLHE I should learn tournaments. Is there any truth to that? What is the ratio between theory/classroom NLHE videos and live/HH review type videos? Would anyone suggest to forget about learning about NLHE and focus on PLO?

Hi cl1ck,

We currently have 63 NL videos available and 12 are "theory/classroom" based. In terms of the best game to learn, and/or start with, your question would probably be better answered by our other members, so I'm moving this to "General Discussion".

FWIW I've heard from a few players that it is much easier to make the switch later on in your career from NL Cash --> NL Tournaments than it is to go the other way.

Thank you for your response. One of the things that sets RIO apart from the other training sites is the interaction the members get from the top level pros. I`m looking forward to joining the site.
