Live 2/5 NLHE Player - Is it worth getting into online MTTs?
I need some realistic advise on whether or not it would be worth it to get into the online MTT world.
For starters, I don't play online, and haven't played much online for over 5 years. When I did, I played mostly $50 to $100 NLHE 6-max, and SNGs. Break even to small winner.
I'm now a semi-pro 2/5 live player. I don't play live tournaments much, but when I do, I notice the field is absolutely atrocious. I don't aspire to be a live tournament player, because I don't believe that high win-rates are attainable compared to playing cash games.
I know the online cash games are tough, and I know I don't have the skill (nor do I wish to put in the time to acquire the skill) to make as much as I do playing live cash.
I'd like to get some feedback from mid and high stakes MTT winners.
-Is it worth it? I would be playing on PS, and would probably only play Sundays and maybe 1 other day a week.
-What type of win rates/ROIs/hourlys are attainable at mid and high stakes MTTs?
-What type of bankroll would I need?
If I were to take the plunge, RIO would be my go to training site
-What videos/pros would I start with?
Your input is appreciated.
