Learning The Ropes - Micro to Low Stakes
Sup, RIO. My name is Adam and I'm a 19 year old student from the UK. I have played poker online since I was 16 (under a family member's name) but have never taken it seriously. I decided that I want to change that, and hope I can learn enough to become a regular at NL25 by the end of the summer.
I currently study before playing every session. I have just picked up a copy of The Grinder's Manual and I'm slowly making my way through it, taking notes and then reading them through between sessions. I would also like to start watching some videos however I'm not too sure where to start. Obviously, RIO has a huge selection but they're catered a little more towards Low Stakes+, not the micros. If anybody has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
I'll be using this journal as a place for personal use, something I can refer back to as time progresses to see how far I've come, as well as a method of motivation. I'd rather be posting a graph which shows my profit going up than always going down. Hand histories will be posted too.
