Learning Paths - Relevance
Just a quick, basic question. I am working my way through the learning path videos and notice that many are 5 years+ old. For instance I just watched "how to play v small 3bets". Are the theories in this still relevant today? Should I just stick to the videos created in the last 12 months?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hey Walnuts87 -
Your point is certainly a valid one and we wouldn't want anyone adopting an outdated strategy either. That said, the Learning Paths section of the site simply contains videos that were once published on the site and we never remove videos once they've been posted. All videos prior to release on the site are viewed either by myself (exclusively for the first few years of operation) or two of my colleagues to ensure quality of content and editing. Additionally, the Learning Paths section was only created in the last year and the videos chosen for each path were indeed screened prior to adding them which means that they were generally relevant for that topic within the last year.
It's certainly possible that a concept that is touched on in a specific video may be outdated however if it is part of a learning path it means that my colleagues and I believed that there was something worthwhile in that video that contributed to the topic that it is categorized in. I would strongly encourage you to be cognizant of the date that the video was published and if is from some time ago to try to take the spirit in which the coach intended and not necessarily as gospel.
I hope this helps and please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.
Thanks for the response Mikey. I guess they part that jumped out of your post was the videos were screened in the last year and deemed valuable. I understand completely that not 100% of every video can be relevant as things evolve, but if the core principles of the videos are sound then that is pretty much my Q answered.
Thanks
