although these hands are not suspicious at all, given the recent discovery of the massive bot ring at these stakes I'm pleased it appears stars is making more of an effort in game security.

I would say however, it is most likely in this case that some fish you busted reported you and the other guy for colluding, probably out of spite, or more likely, stupidity.

long story short there was a (primarily) russian ring from 200-1k plo - about 5-8 accounts are now banned.

I agree with what Game Theory said; tinchoarce is just mad he got soul read/owned..

I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about, is this email a mistake? I don't know who tinchoarce is and certainly have no relationship with him. In the first hand you sent I fold KQQ6 preflop, so am not in the hand, maybe this is a mistake but I've been playing plo for a week, sorry.

In the second hand I have three aces on the flop, I bet he calls, I turn the nut full house and am 95% sure he has a king because of card removal so when a king comes on the river he is either folding or has quads so I check back, a good play I believe.

So you can you please explain to me what this is about and how you can justify suspending my account and money based on two completely Indiscriminate hands? I've played at pokerstars on and off for over 8 years, and have never done anything untoward, have always provided identification when you've asked etc I found this quite shocking honestly

Will see what they say but either way I've lost a good Friday night grind which is always easy money and wanted to cash out 1k for my drunken Saturday night casino spew which is not possible. But yes, atleast they are doing something about the game integrity

Nice; you might also have asked for the full name of the person dealing with the account.....makes it easier to make a formal complaint if needed...

This is the email ive got sent. Of course this is a mistake and it will be clear in the following days. I truly think they are doing these because we are both playing from Argentina, and i am also new in plo200z. But what amuses me is that i used to be an intellipoker coach (til june 2015), they have plenty of hu videos from me :S. Weird stuff.

Like we've said, the hands are silly, but we should all be glad that they're over-investigating things like this rather than under-investigating.

The fact that you both were new to 200z (and OP went from not playing to playing 35k hands in a week) probably triggered something in their system. I'm not sure how their system for detecting unusual play works but I'd imagine it's something that's very difficult to do well without doing it manually.

Very annoying few days for both of you guys, but lets not bash Stars for being thorough and getting one wrong in the process.

Btw tinchoarce should have a leading range on the AK5KK river. What a fish that he checks there with quads and reverse blockers to AA/55.

Just had my account suspended myself but for completely different reasons. I've held the screen-name SatanIsLord8 on PS for the last 3 years and now they tell me that it causes 'genuine offense' to 'a large proportion of players'. They've been politer than the email OP received but i still feel a little aggrieved that they should suddenly take this position after so long.

I am sorry to hear that Pokerstars suspended your account, but this is great for the long term health of the game. It is good that the sites are a bit overcautious, rather than do nothing. This will prevent some future cheaters, and make it much tougher to collude in the games.

This is a great way to evaluate if a member has cheated, and a lot of information could be gained by knowing the suspect's thought process. None of the sites in New Jersey do this, and many player's will cheat while playing. Even though this might inconvenience some of the innocent players, actually it will catch colluders and prevent a ton of cheating.
