Cash&Tourny Bonanza!
Bonjour everyone,
My screen-name is a reference to one of my favourite movies, That being said feel free to call me Bingo or El Bingorino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
Long story short: Experienced player took a long hiatus, nowadays playing for fun, building roll, getting back into it. Always been a cash-game player but recently found some love for the MTT business.
There was ~5$ in my account and ran that up to ~$95 playing SNGs/MTTs, started with $0.25 BI's now playing the $1/$2 Bi's. May move into cash and add sites etc when my roll grows.
My ultimate goal is to "make it" in poker, meaning I can live more comfortably from my poker profits while enjoying the game. Regardless of the "success" of this endeavour, I'll have fun grinding!
That's pretty much it for a intro post,
Cheers and Bonne Chance!

Not my best sesh today, found myself FT in a 180 sng but made a bad bluff and a mediocre re-shove and that was that. Did not feel sharp today but decided to play anyway's. Still, a profitable session is allot better than a losing one but I just wish id give a better effort in the end. Something to improve for next time, my discipline has the tendency to let me down when not feeling "fresh"
The thing I like about tournaments is that you can bink a tournament and increase your BR with 50% or 300% etc, this is something that never happens with cash-games unless you engage in irresponsible BRM. I guess that's the charm in MTTs. These limits are (obv) quite soft, many weak spots and people misunderstanding the later stages, playing loosely or the opposite.
The only thing I don't like about them, is that they can be a bit of a "drag" to me in the early stages, when it get's near the FT its where things get more fun, but to get there this takes a lot of time. And that's me saying when I only played ones that lasted 4hrs hah.
This is something quite uncommon for me, with cash I would always just play one to two hours and then take a break, maybe later play some more, just something I have to get used to when I want to play more of them. I will probably add some cash-game action for when I don't feel as fresh or don't feel like playing cards on the internet for several hours straight. We will see.
Just to share a graph while it still looks good, here you go:
Cheers and have a good one!
Short poker day, played a little cash was ok +2bi. Did think about my approach going forward and very easily ill just focus on the sngs/mtts when I really feel like playing. And when not just grind cash. Tweaking my diet to get some more focus. That's pretty much it for this short and boring update.
Mazel tov everyone!
Been playing some cash when I could squeeze in a session, been going great!
Not any time for any mtts/sngs really, might play them this weekend or I may stick to cash and play them when I can grind the larger BI ones, so I can grind mtts with smaller fields.
Buona Fortuna Everyone!
subbed, go go
Back in the mix with some mtts, took a 2cnd in 320 field and a 1st n 52 ppl field.
Laughable level but hey its nice to take top spot finishes regardless.
Cash grind still going on as well when I feel sharp, ok have to admit played one cash session not so sharp apparently cause I misread my cards in terrible fashion. Oh well just Live and Learn, ill abide!
Graphs since this blog (because everyone loves graphs):
glgl eveyone!
Hero found himself grinding the noble game of no limit holdem multi table tournaments last few days. The first few I've learned nuances in opening ranges, the next the nuances in reshove and call-off ranges. Yday I learned to keep my focus the hard way, I found myself deep in several trny's but made small to medium sized blunders really close to FT... I could feel my focus drop, this just happens for me when I am awake for 14 hrs. Trying to fix this issue with short workouts during break, if that does not help I may need to convert to the use caffeine. I've came close to good "scores" a couple of times already more than I expected for the size of the fields, really nice to see. Well see if this trend continue's and if my fixes worked.
Graph so far

Cheers!
Weeee my first official mtt victory! :D
Today didn't even start off that great, I was feeling quite tired but decided to fire up a sessions anyway's. Early on stopped regging cause I did not feel like grinding after all, Only played 4 and took down a 6max tournament with 320 runners! The end game was a lot of fun, 3way and HU had nice dynamics. Certainly reminded me to work on my HU game some more but ill take the win!
Looking forward to grind some more this week!
Cheers!
Bwoah so close again!
Quite funny got deep again in the mtt I messed up the other day, closer this time but busted 12th. Made some errors in the end unfortunately. But I've learned a lot again on proper reshove ranges when I'm reviewing this. Some small postflop errors too.
But it's all good, I'll evaluate it , learn from it and get better!
Mtt results so far:

Mazel tov!
Nice blog!
I am curious about what site you are playing at, since these small fields don´t look like stars.
I mostly play cash, but have been playing some mtt´s on ipoker and found them to be great. Super soft obv (<$5), and always nice to play in a ~200 ppl field, where you can go deep quite often.
Anyways, gl man, keep crushing
Thanks fefe!
Playing on winamax, french site not open to all region's, I agree its nice to play smaller fields, makes you learn quicker about mid/late stage too I feel like.
Cheers man, good luck to you as well!
Greetings fellow travelers! It's been a while since this journal has seen an update.
Since the last update I was mostly focusing on MTT's, That was fun and I've learned a lot of things that I feel helps my overall game. But as of late I do not feel like playing them anymore and gotten back to grinding cash for now. Employing aggressive BRM.
Cash results since the blog:

This is all micro stakes up till nl50
Mix of zoom and regular
Planning to play more and trying to move up as quickly as possible
Ohyah hit my first royal flush of the year :) Must be a good sign.
Cheers glgl
Subbing. Keep us updated!
Very nice looking graph. Keep up the good work and updates :)
100k hands update
Since the start of the journal, Happy to have grinded it up like this, now its time to keep this going into the right direction. Playing nl50 now and ready to shot nl100 soon (yes very aggressive BRM)

I feel like the nl25 winrate has a ton of variance in it, when id shot there id lose in some cooler situation, so I think its mostly sample size but can certainly also be just me needing to work on my game more. ill keep it in mind!
On to the next 100k hands, Planning to play way more rest of this month, will see how that go's, cheers!
Good luck on your shots. Just remember to stick to whatever rules you're using for shot taking!
