I Really Want to Be Professional

Hello there.

I agree to the forum in Turkey. Since my childhood I have a great interest in the card game. About 4 years ago I met poker. I was playing poker are times when I can not get bored at home during college years. Then I started to learn poker is a game that can be developed gradually. I started playing at PokerStars SNG and bought myself a book. I slowly developed my game but I did not never come to the level I want. Although this did not satisfy me successful in my Advanced Micro SNG. I wanted to be the best so I continued learning. I was a successful player in particular turbo SNG s. But I was weak, I'm going back to the previous level in the mental aspect. Then a shock decision, the Pokerstars close its doors to Turkey.

After this news was no more sites in Turkey could play SNG. I thought about quitting poker, but I could not. Because I want to accomplish. Mental bought books to improve myself next to poker. I Development of Poker was a big change about my life.

Convinced I'd managed to rebuild about 1 year ago, I started learning the game CASH. I knew I'd make it this time. In the beginning, everything was going very good. I was doing Bankroll Management. I see poker as a second job, and I acted as his own boss. However, I have encountered the same scene. I lost a big part of my safe again. I took part and spent.

After that I spent my time at a great personal development. Meanwhile, I continued to play a little poker. And today I read in a book he wrote that 'what you want to accomplish Get ideas from people who have already succeeded.' I know that there are very good players in this forum. I want you to help me in this regard.

Im not a pro but im doing good in my opinion.

tbh... you started with a bigger bankroll than i did....
I started playing with only 2$ (from 888) and only deposited $20....

I just read,read,read.... memories .....

Just read articles and forums from any site you can find and any free info you can get your hands on, take advantage of everything you can get in the web...

If you find free programs, use it
If find a new strategy your not familiar with, try and experiment with its.

right now i have at least about $500 bankroll on each of my accounts, it did take me 6 years to get this far....

Good luck curvafb hope you succeed.

Here is my advice to you:

  1. Read at least one book per month. If you have a smartphone, you can download the Kindle app, and then Amazon will basically let you download the first chapter of any book for free.

2.listen to podcasts on your phone. Lots of incredible free information in podcasts. Look at the top charts of most popular podcasts and try a lot of them.

The books and podcasts do not have to only be about poker. You are hungry for SELF IMPROVEMENT. Any improvement will help.

Hi curvafb,

1) Watch essential cash game instructors.
2) Take notes vigorously.
3) Pause before their actions. Ask yourself if you would do the same. If not, think why?
listen to their explanation. Do you agree/disagree? If you disagree, think why. The main thing is justifying your reasoning. Having to come up with evidence will deepen your understanding.
4) Volume: Play, play, play. Like anything, success comes from experience.

Hopefully, actively thinking and asking yourself questions all the time will help you to improve.

Hope that helps. :)
