I just can't get better
Hello guys, I kinda need your help...
Well, I'm playing poker for like 2 months, studying every single day, dedicating 10-12h/day for it, and I just can't get better!
I left the army in july/16 and since then I was looking for something to do with my life, and I found poker. I tought I was smart enough to do it, but know I'm not sure anymore. I'll show you guys my graphic below:
Those peaks of profit were before I started the study, and now I'm kinda stable. What am I doing wrong?
I'll be pretty much gratefull if you guys can help me.
Best Regards,
Haidyn.

I'm not a tournament/sng player but from what I understand 350 games is a very small sample size and it's hard to say anything conclusive based on it.
But the graph going down all the time? Is that right?
I'd imagine that for tournament players that's quite normal. You probably lose most of the time and then occasionally get some big wins. Kind of like the first half of your graph.
Yeah, I changed to SnG and I'm feeling worse than when I played MTT without any knowledge, just with my gut. I got a 10º place on BIG 16,50$ and a 1st at hot .55$. Now I can't even beat a SnG .25 :/
It takes way more than 2 months to get good at poker. Give it more time
Ok bro, thx, Im feeling kinda stupid, dumb or something like it.
Its gonna take years not months. Fasten your patience seatbelt :) I had same doubts as you but at some point I just understoood it takes 10 times more than
you think to become good. Never give up and if you study a lot you will get there :)
First thing is first, don't play these stakes, its not worth your time and you will learn zero playing with these players. Moshman's book on sngs is kind of outdated but still some useful info in there. Play less and work more on learning the game.
