I have 4 Essential Videos left on contract and I want to know what you want to see from me!
Hello all,
A long time ago a coach here named Lefort quit and in his last series he asked everyone to vote for what they wanted him to make on his way out. At the time I was just a subscriber and a coach at a competitor's very purple and very unnamed site. It struck me that this was awesome and something I'd like to do. Unfortunately my resignation at the unnamed purple site came abruptly and I was unable to do that but I've kept it in the back of my mind since then and now I get to put it to good use!
I have 4 essential videos left on contract and I'd like to hear from you! What do you want to see!
At the end of these 4 essential videos I will be moving to the elite tier so if you are an elite subscriber please don't vote as I'll be continuing to make mtt videos there and I can fullfill your requests at a later date.
A few quick notes: I have to submit the first video in about a week so I'll be picking something early on, but if it's not a 4 part series please feel free to continue to contribute ideas.
Please don't ask me to leakfind you.
If you have ideas for 4 videos please suggest them all. If you only have 1, that's fine too, throw it out there!
There has to be a tournament focus.
It should be applicable to the essential tier.
It shouldn't be duplicated by other instructors on this site.
A few suggestions that people may be interested in.
Live mtt hands (EPT Barcelona, WSOP -either HHs or reviewing the final table I made [or any other final table]), Live session real time. Live session pre-recorded post commentary. Theory topics (ICM, PLO ICM, MDFs etc)
That's by no means an exhaustive list but I wanted to convey that it was okay to suggest topics I've already touched on/done (If you really just like live play then by all means, vote for it).
Nothing is an unreasonable request (though obviously I can't guarantee that I'll accommodate your request)
Will xpost this in mtt threads.
Chris

I myself love theory videos the most. I don't play PLO so NLHE would be the most preferable.
Good luck at the elite tier. :-)
ICM, mid-late game theory, general topics on what separates an average from great player (know this is very broad but I don't know how else to put it).
Thanks for doing this, and I'll see you in elite once I can afford it :)
+1 Except may be ICM that has been the subject of many vids before. follow up of the last vid but on shallow stack >13bb to
A video on the things to most important things to study when transferring from cash to MTTs. They're obviously different games so an insight into what's most important to study with tournaments could be interesting and I don't think has been done
Definitely going to do this. There are a number of things I missed when I first transitioned. Great Idea. I think I may be able to make 4 parts of this and I think it's crucial to the essential content.
The other topics can be more elite related anyway.
Awesome idea!
+1
Yea, I actually never seriously played tournaments but I am planning on actually learning to play them properly. There seems to be so much value in them as there are more fish than at cash.
As someone who is trying to transition from cash to MTTs, this would be absolutely amazing.
-how to improve our MTT game from being breakheaven to winner in todays environnement may be treat 4-5 major topics to work on and how to study on that you feel is the most important.
-off table work topics, finally same as above how to review your own game.
just personal comment : big shit you leave essiential,I downgrade to essential because of the recent MTT elite content vs essential that was not worth to subscribe to elite for MTT. same disapointment as when Lucas Greenwood left essential. sad...
Personally I like live 6+ multitabling videos as its often the really marginal hands that would get cut out of a handhistory that I think are most useful for me.
Live games !
As a cash game player, I would love a general MTT theory video, maybe transitioning to MTTs from CG as you probably did that yourself, nash ranges, how to use them, maybe the mistakes cash players do when transitioning, how icm changes your decisions later in the tourney, etc.. i guess 4 parts would be awesome for that.
Edit: Nevermind, i jumped to make a comment before reading other suggestions, pumped for this series! tyty
Looks like you really went for the series. Thanks man. :-))
