How much longer for next Garrett Adelstein video?

We haven't had a new Adelstein video for more than 2 months. When can we expect the next one?

Have to bump this. What happened to Garrett, did he get drafted for the next seasons Survivor or something? He said his next video was to be released like a month ago.

Hey guys, I'm going to get this next video to ya ASAP, hopefully in the next several days.  Unfortunately it will likely be my last for RIO.

Long story short, making videos has come with a ton of negative feedback from my peers (many of which have become good friends) in the LA live poker scene in regards to making the games tougher.  It also has potentially played a role in me no longer getting to play in some 100/200 and 200/400 100 ante NL games; I worry about that having an impact in future big games as well.

I've also realized way too late that some of the positives I used to enjoy about video production just aren't there for me anymore (enjoyment of teaching, notoriety/respect among peers, the challenge of putting together a quality video, among others).  I know that I planned on making 8 videos this year, not 4, and as such want to apologize to all the members as well as those who run the show here at RIO for not following through.  It was my responsibility to weigh the pros and cons of getting back into video production before joining the RIO, and I'm regretful I didn't do a better job of that.
Gl everyone, and sorry again.

that's pretty surprising feedback I guess.  I enjoyed your videos, but you didn't exactly call out specific players or make insane eye opening strategy suggestions.  It was more just top notch exploitation of tough players in big games using sound logic.

Any chance you could elaborate on the feedback you've been getting (obviously keeping names and details out of it)?  Insight into these kinds of live-pro dynamics is always interesting to me as a player that has been nearly an exclusive online pro for 7 years.

That really sucks! I can understand your videos make games tougher. I don't understand how you aren't allowed to play 100/200 though? Is the Commerce casino watching here and banning you because of your awesomeness? "We only want fish in our nose bleed stakes" :)

Anyway it's a big loss for RIO. I'm playing more and more live and videos on live games are really needed.

What if you didn't focus on your actual hands and more on general aspects of live games. Like tells, general preflop etc?

Any update on this video? I finally bought a membership just so I could get the last Gman video.

Btw, very sorry to hear about this.  Hope you can get back in the game.  Live games are very fragile. Got uninvited from a great private game myself a while back that plays bigger than any casinos near me will spread. When you find a great game, nothing is more important than ensuring that you stay in the game. Too bad we both had to learn the hard way.

Going to Europe for a few weeks starting in mid October, I promise I will get it out before then.

I don't really care what most people (aka random 10/20 nitty grinder) think.  But when most of my closest LA poker friends all express their frustration/are baffled as to why I would make videos, that's kind of a different story.

And no, a casino itself doesn't care about anything like that; nosebleed live games are unfortunately filled w/ politics, and making training videos certainly doesn't help my cause. But again, that is just one piece of the equation.
