How can I counter wrist problem from playing?
I play so much poker and so many tables I am starting to have some numbness in my wrist. It is a slight pain and effects my gameplay. I play around 6-7 tables simultaneously for hours and need to solve this.
I know it sounds pretty stupid, but I make a real good living off of playing many tables at once. However typing out many commands day after day, second after second is starting to pain my wrist. Anyone else experience this problem? How can I fix this? None of the sites I play at allow software like table ninja.

Thanks! Where can I find that mouse? You still have to manually input bets though right?
Make sure your work station is set up properly so that your wrist while typing is at the proper angle. You can find guidelines on line and even ergonometric keyboards
I type at a 45 degree angle. Should I adjust this?
Also check for carpal tunnel syndrome. I had to wear sort of a little wrist support for a while
Haha thanks for the feedback... only part of the job I don't like :P.
fwiw the biggest fix is probably just some fitness for your shoulders and arms. I've played tons and tons of poker with an old mouse going on 7 years now and never had any wrist issues. But I still play baseball and do a lot of shoulder, forearm, and wrist exercises and that probably makes the difference.
Playing with same mouse for 7 years ?
Work out 3 times a week. Don't think that is a problem. I don't use a mouse while playing though. I play 6 tables for hours at a time.
find a hotkey program
when I used to play high volume online just having the space bar set to fold was a huge help.
3M Ergonomic Mouse
Evoluent Vertical Mouse
I've heard trackball mice are also good.
Will take some time to get used to though. You will definitely lose actions per minute / max # of tables until you get used to the new hardware.
Those joystick mouses are pretty cool.
You can play poker and commodore 64 with it :).
For years I was having wrist issues. About a year ago I turned my mouse pad around so the cushion wasn't under my wrist. Haven't had any pain since. No advice for typing bet amounts, it never effected me physically.
Never had a problem but a friend who has carpal tunnel loves his trackball mouse. He said it took a while to get used to but he loves it now and has no problem with pains/aches.
Edit: I see bdon already suggested this. :)
