(After reading about this famous bet again, the other night, I posted the following on TwoPlusTwo, and I am posting it on RIO to attract the attention of any high-stakes pros, who like to prop bet/know people who do.

I think it would be a fun little thing to do for the WSOP, and nice exercise in psychological fortitutde. I would be happy to promote RunItOnce, in whatever way they are interested in, in exchange for the community booking action/helping me find it.)

A few years ago, there was a well-known prop bet that took place between good2cu and a 20kJay (Bellagio regular) that 20kJay could live in a hotel bathroom for thirty days:

I am interested in betting that I could do this for the ENTIRE duration of the Main Event, from the start on July 1st, until the end of the November Nine, with much more stringent stipulations.

The stipulations would be as follows:

1) No television, cell phone, computer, iPod/music player, or books are allowed.

2) No access to a clock, and/or calendar is allowed.

3) A mattress is not allowed.

4) No spoken human contact of any kind is allowed. Written notes placed under the door are allowed. In fact, I am not allowed to speak at any time during the wager (From the start of the Main Event on July 1st until the end of the November 9).

5) With the exception of food/vitamin and supplement delivery, the bathroom door must remain closed at all times. All deliveries will be pre-arranged, at set intervals, before the wager takes place.

6) As implied in (5), vitamins and supplements are allowed. (Vitamin D, for example, should be necessary, as I will not be receiving sunlight). A list of banned/allowed compounds can be mutually developed by both wagering parties, with the agreement that if a substance is not on this list, then it is not allowed.

Note: I do not use recreational drugs, and have no interest in doing so.

7) [I]Food ordered (directly) from the hotel [I]is not allowed. This means that no food from which is made in the hotel, is allowed. I am allowed to use agents from the hotel to place orders for me online, and so on.

8) Adherence to all stipulations will be verified through 24-hour video camera placed directly outside of the bathroom door, and a 24-hour feed of microphones placed inside the hotel room.

I am looking for action at somewhere between 10 to 1 and 15 to 1, with 13 to 1 seeming reasonable, for such an endeavor. I would be interested in booking up to 25k (on my end). There are other details to be worked out, such as which hotel, and who will referee/be appointed by the community to help me co-ordinate this bet w/ the hotel, so on.

Who is interested?

I am interested in serious inquiries only, with minimum action of $5k/person. If you would like to respond, please begin your post with one of the following, so that I know you are serious:

1) "I would be interested in betting X at Y line, let's work out the details."

2) "I know somebody who would probably be interested in betting X at Y line, let's work out the details."

3) "I would be willing to bet X at Y line, if we changed the following stipulations..."

4) "I am an experienced high-stakes prop bettor, and have some suggestions for the stipulations/logistics."

The ideal situation would be took my entire action with one person, and obviously have it escrowed to a member of (RIO) coaching community, who has a spot-less reputation.
