Have Any Video Filter Requests?
Hey RIO community! We've been taking a look at some areas of the site that have room for improvement.
First, we've decided to add some more filters to our Pro Video Library. Since you are the users, I thought I'd come to you.
What additional filters that would improve your experience?

I think FR/6max/HU filter can be handy
Already possible ;-)

Most Popular within the last (week/ month/ w.e)
How about adding just a date filter on its own, so you can combine it with Most Popular or whatever else you want?
That would definitely work.
When you re trying to watch a whole series it can take a while to find the next eposiode if the series is buried deep in the chronological order as every time you go back to the main search (with the specific coach filtered) it takes you back to the most recent page. A series title filter would be great.
Also I know there isn't that many live poker videos, but the few that there are, are tough to search for, because typing live poker in the search finds all the live action online sessions.
deucescracked search filters are great.
A filter that covers videos about psychology, mindset and other topics not directly related to poker strategy.
Player skill filter (beginner/intermediate / advanced) or something like that would be nice.
This one may be really tough to go back and categorize/decide on for 4000 videos. I'm not sure if I have a good alternative suggestion.
Filter for videos ideal for listening only (More video like this would be useful for those of us with commutes).
I'm really curious how high the demand is for something like this. I see the appeal, and adding the filter itself isn't that hard, but creating more videos with this in mind in the future (without sacrificing the experience for viewers) would be a challenge we'd need to figure out how to handle.
Have you considered a RIO only podcast? I remember listening to one for DeucesCracked back in the day and really enjoyed having that. I would even consider being a part of it.
This is content I would love to see. I'm definitely sometimes looking for something to listen to in the car. When I do, I usually go to "Theory" and hope it works out alright.
I think Cory's idea is good, if the podcast is good. I'd love to listen to it.
Cory, when you say RIO only, do you mean something for only Elite/Essential members?
Are you (anyone) thinking these are high in strategic value or more similar to other podcasts which might touch on strategy but talk about other things?
I can't say what Cory was thinking. But personally, I was thinking for essential/elite members with high strategic value. What I was imagining was essentially RIO videos that didn't actually require much in terms of visuals. (For example, I've seen a few videos where people are talking over relatively light power points, that could easily just have no visual and be fine).
Yes, I was thinking about a podcast for RIO members only. It might be a nice compliment to the array of offerings we already have. My idea was to create a podcast that would be more strategy heavy, but consumable without visuals. I think the "light strategy and poker tangents" podcast style is already being done by the 2+2 pokercast guys or the thinking poker guys so ours could fill a different audio niche.
My guess is that you would want a couple consistent hosts and then maybe a rotation of guests pros talking about different games and ideas.
I have successfully listened to and enjoyed Bradley Chalupski and Christoph Pimmer's videos on audio-only mode while at work. I would love this sort of filter.
Another filter that I have found myself increasingly missing is a Brick-and-Mortar type filter. I know that there aren't many of these kinds of videos, but to be able to search out and find videos like the incredible Poker After Dark series by filtering for a live casino setting would be amazing!
Yep, I would like to see this filter if possible.
Audio content should be pure strategy. RIO is for education, not entertainment.
As for not adding it without taking away from complete content. Perhaps a more relaxed approach could be taken to creating the content. Creators, when they have an idea worth sharing, could be encouraged just to record it on their phones. Whether 15 or 50 mins, it the idea is useful, I want to hear it. That way, you could compensate them less since the content is much less labor intensive, and the community could benefit without the cost of missing out on the usual higher standard content.
It would be really helpful if you guys added a “save filter” option. I play 6max NLHE and it is kinda annoying that everytime I wanna look for a video I have to filter all over again. Thx.
This.
Filter for single table vids - those that can be watched on tablet while driving or at the gym. Thanks
Please don't watch RIO videos while driving!
I believe a filter for number of tables played in videos would be really helpful. As 1 or 2 table only, 3 to 4, and 4 or more or something similar. I personaly prefer 1 to 2 table videos and would like to see more of those. And btw I will stress out again that sound of many videos should be much better qualitiy:P
I think it would be nice to be able to filter on The primary software used in a video e.g piosolver, HRC, pokerjuice, PT4 etc. Would be very helpful for those looking to come up to speed with a new tool.
Thumbs up for podcast!
