Happy birthday RIO & some props :)
Seeing as RIO is 1 today I thought I'd share a couple of things I like about the site. If you could pass on the props to those concerned I'd appreciate it.
1) There seems to be a genuine desire to keep improving. I've posted a couple of suggestions and always get a reply/action. Props to Mikey Stotz and Pedro Gomez
2) The community is really mature, positive and friendly.
3) The pros are better than at other sites for commenting and discussing their videos - particular mentions for Nick Rampone, Espen Sorlie, and Paul Senter for this.
4) The essential package is fantastic value.
5) The support emails seem to get read by the man at the top - (I only guess that because I got two replies to an email and one was signed "pg")

Can't believe nobody's told anyone to fuck off yet. On other forums, that's most of the discussion. :)
Everyone is so nice to each other.
Never watched those specific pros, but I have to say that everyone I've watched has been a great coach.
And it's really refreshing to actually get a response from people, when you face a problem, instead of someone sending you a mostly automated response, without actually listening to what's wrong.

The whole team and I work hard to make sure our customers are happy, and as you pointed out (steamer), we will continue to strive to improve.
Many sites hire web developers to build their site, and then they have someone on staff who can fix technical errors. We've got a full time web dev team (led by Pedro), and it's the reason you've seen and will continue to see new features and improvements (some bigger ones on the way!).
Anyways, before this turns into an infomercial for RIO :), I just wanted to say thank you. I know I speak for our whole staff when I say that the appreciation that members like you express is the most rewarding part of the what we do, especially after working so hard and taking so much pride in the product we're working on. It's excellent motivation to keep aiming higher.
Oh, but I can't take credit for the support emails. That 'pg' is Pedro. Sorry :(

Happy birthday! RIO started out very promising 1 year ago, and has delivered even beyond my expectations (which were high). Excellence all over!
