Run It Once Training
GTO trainer and becoming member
Hey guys,
After being away for 10 years from the poker tables I want to make a fresh start again. I used to play LHE and want to start NLHE mostly zoom. Maria Konnikova her article in The Atlantic triggered me and am now reading her book. It mentioned runitonce also.
Now my question. I saw the into of this video: https://www.runitonce.com/poker-training/videos/akshar-patel-nlhe-poker-playing-against-the-computer/ and I want to do the same. Just first practicing in this program. When clicking on the vision GTO banner I only saw options to purchase for PLO, but I am not only interested in NLHE, I want to do what AKSHAR is doing.
Still orientating in how I can make the best start.
Thanks for the help

The tool Akshar Patel uses is Simple GTO trainer which can be found here.
You can also buy a solver such as GTO+, do solves and use that program to play against the solution.
I would advice buying From the Ground Up. It's $50 for lifetime access to that content and also gets you a month Essential access on RunItOnce. Unless you already have a really good grasp on theory, then you can do the GTO solve drill training.
Simple GTO looks really cool, thanks!
Would learning GTO be a good way to start winning on zoom/fast forward tables? What would be the best essential video's to start with?
Learning exact GTO isn't really doable. But yes, if you could it would be winning.
What most people do is look at GTO solves and figure out why a solver is doing something. Then they put that concept into practice in their game.
I am a fan of Peter Clarke and Henry Lister for Essential Videos.
