Goals, balancing practice, accountability
My name is Brant and I currently play mostly 50nl. I'm creating this ongoing thread as a way to stay accountable for my goals to an outside source, receive feedback, and hopefully help others.
Goals (will reassess on March 15th or if major life change happens):
-Strategy: everyday I want to post a short video of myself balancing ranges for a hand (or select streets of a hand) using flopzilla. I'll keep it short and post a link to YouTube. Feedback super welcome. Edit: Originally I was aiming for one vid/day on average...I think right now it's also really important that I grind a lot, so I may change this a little. At the very least, I will try to check in with the blog on how much time I'm putting in and my mental game status.
-I will honestly report the amount of time I put in at poker for the day.
-Give myself a grade for mental game for the day.
Its probably worth including that I'm an avid meditator already. I would include this as one of my mental game accountability check points but I've been doing it long enough that its habit, so I won't report on that very much probably.
I'm currently in LA visiting a grad school so I don't have access to flopzilla or screen recording software... So I may not post a video for the first few days unless I can figure a way around it. I expect first video to pop up on Friday.
And...gogogo
