What's up Run It Once? Been thinking about making one of these journal threads for ages but never got around to doing one and as it's coming towards the end of the month and I now have a specific goal in mind for one I'll give it a shot!

As you can probably tell by the title my goal is to get from my current stakes of NL10/NL25 to playing NL100 regularly by the end of this year. Obviously a big challenge but one that I hope will be successful with a lot of hard work as well as a big helping of run-good along the way.

A little about me - I'm from the UK, I'm 21 and have been playing poker on and off for the last three years but starting to take it more seriously this past year or so. Up until about a month ago I worked in IT support but hated it so decided to quit and live off some savings for a while before looking for a new job either doing the same thing or maybe finding something different to do. During this time I've decided to really try and work on my game and get to a stage where I can give myself a good second income (or a main income if I become good enough!).

I am planning on playing 6 tables of regular NL25 to start - dropping down to NL10 when/if that is necessary. Once I hit 30-35 buyins for the next limit I will move up and if I lose between 5-10 buyins at that new limit I will move back down again. Below I will post my results from this month so far. I've been playing without a HUD due to my laptop all but dying on me - only just being able to import the files from another computer so I can see how I'm doing in the sessions.

For the first part of the month I ran well at NL10, moved up to NL25, ran bad so moved back down again and carried on running pretty bad. I'm hoping my results will improve now that I have my HUD back and will be able to make more exploitative plays based on stats.

My plan is to update with an interesting hand or two after every session and post graphs/numbers every 10K hands or so.
