Let's crush guys :)
Crush covid and poker
I’m honored !
Was very active on RIO since June but I was too shy due to my English level, no had try others poker content between December and February. Guess what ?
RIO is the best.
Even if I’m crossing for sure my worst downswing I would ever had, it’s a huge opportunity to progress and focus on the out game. It still a pleasure to improve my game and learn new things on forum and videos every days.
Thanks to all the coaches, members and staff, take care of you and your families.
It’s time to go back to the lab now !
French 18yo Poker player.

Sry to derail a little bit but I'd like to ask you how many BIs and in how many hands and any other info to put the downswing in perspective.
You posted in the last Lacriola's vid that you have a strong passion for the game, as you posts highlight it, but you are pretty 'new' to the game.
My first gut reaction to your comment was: "He haven't played enough to hate this game/haven't run bad enough" but I might be wrong.
For example, my career is not astonishing and I made a ton of errors in the past. I acknowledge that I don't like the game as much as I used to because my negative feelings toward it. These feelings are due to many things that I'm looking to fix.
So maybe you can help me out and give me some insights about your downswing
Ah, congratz for the free RIO membership
Congrats to you also ! @For Carlotta
I’m going to write a thread about my poker experience soon, you re gonna know all in there.
For info, -90bi under ev during ~150 khands. Knowing that I’m not a killer at the table, because I’m 18, I was not able to play when I started, and I practice with real money since less than a year. So obviously big difference in theory/practice skill, ( as we can expect if a football player trains himself by playing fifa..), who might cause a slightly/be winnings at nl100 and below over not a large sample. (100k hands)
I’m very confident for the futur anyway, and will write my plan in my futur thread like I said.

I will be happy to share this in pv if you want.
I think for me it’s mostly because Learning the game and Practice the game are totally 2 differents things. Bad feeling of normals . I took my downswing has an opportunity to growth. Seems cheesy, but it was totally that. I was focusing the game h24 7/7 and avoid others importants aspects of life (other hobbies, relation, and personal growth tools , (books, lecture, etc..)). I discovered I had memorization, that I wouldn’t discovered If I didn’t stop playing poker for a couple of weeks, and made a practical pause.
So, take downswing has an opportunity . Looses are inevitable.
And btw, Peter Clarke s book Poker Therapy is amazing, you should considerate study it, maybe.
Cheers.
Congrats all! Crush this month in good health!
