First significant loss (relative to NL2)
Today I suffered my first real losing session in a very long time. A couple buying down like its nothing. I am usually really good when it comes to tilt, shit happens and sometimes you just lose. Today I lost my mind. It seemed like everywhere I went either I made the wrong decision or my opponent just had something better than me. Every single time. But the most tilting thing of all was that I didn't know. I haven't been playing poker very long, my sample size of hands is tiny, probably less than 5000 lifetime, and I'm still learning the game so I don't always know if 3betting a weak ace from the blinds against a button open is correct. Or the opposite, calling a 3bet from the blinds after opening a weak ace from the button. The past few sessions I played I thought I was making great decisions (occasionally incorrect but I felt most of them were very clear to me), but this time everything seemed like an insane toss-up and this is all entirely new to me.
Now, I know there have been a large amount of tilted rants on here lately, and I'm just adding to it, but I really did need to vent and I hope this isn't too much of a bother to anybody here. I really like this website and I learn like a sponge so Poker is a fantastic hobby for me but GOD DAMN this game can be brutal!
