Education path @runitonce for a recreational player
I'm a recreational player and I'm currently not thinking of playing poker for my main income. I treat it as a hobby that adds some money on top of my salary from time to time. Recently I won 10k in the 9M GTD Sunday Million and it made me think if I shouldn't focus and play more MTTs. On the other hand it seems to me that it's pretty hard to get good at MTTs without putting in the volume and there are already plenty of regs with superior knowledge out there to get me. I'm good at hyper-turbo SNGs (winning or breakeven depending on the level), so my end game and short-stack play are pretty good.
What would you guys recommend I begin with on runitonce? What path should I take? Which videos are best suited for me?

Hey Congrats!, nice score.
I'd say, Cash some out and have some fun with it,
And as far as poker goes, I would structure what I play around what I have time to play, and what interests me.
Can you play most Sundays? Like Hyper Turbos? Only have a couple hours at night? Maybe Sunday Million Satellites are an option?
Maybe playing MTT SNG's , either turbo or regular would be a good way to constantly have the ability to improve your MTT game.
Maybe spend a couple buck on some software and an Elite Membership if you havn't already, or even some coaching!
Best of luck !
re-reading your post I think I was slightly off on what you were looking for, But I still think its good advice..
As far as what videos to watch , I have really been getting a lot out of the non-poker session videos.
Like Software videos (huds and equity calculators), GTO stuff, Making it as a Pro (even though not your goal).
Hope that helps some!
My suggestion is to try out as many pros as possible to get an idea of their teaching style. Some will resonate with you more than others and once you find a few that do, you can focus on their videos.
Each video (aside from ones in a series) is capable of being watched on it's own for the most part so I wouldn't be too worried about starting at a certain spot or with a certain coach. You might want to check out videos from our essential coaches first as they tend to provide a more introductory level of explanation into some difficult concepts.
Thanks for your suggestions guys. I actually returned to runitonce.com after watching a bunch of Jason Somerville's streams on Twitch and videos on YouTube. I will certainly try out all the coaches and maybe play with the idea of learning PLO as a new adventure.
Meanwhile I'm going back home for the Easter holidays and will play some live Friday night cash games with my buddies. That is certainly what I enjoy the most about the game :-)
RIO > twitch and youtube.
Most free content out there is bad for learning, whereas RIO has supergood coaches.
I have seen streamers folding T9o BvB and putting 40% of their stack in the middle pre and folding to a shove. I rarely watch them nowadays.
Jcarverpoker had nothing but praise for Galfond's videos. I enjoy Jason's twitch for the entertainment factor that really helps you stay focused and retain more information. Of course it's basic, entry level knowledge, but there are plenty of good thinking lessons as well. It's a lot harder to put in a couple of hours of watching game theory/math videos on RIO, than to breeze through a session on twitch with someone as entertaining as Jason.
That said, who do you think is the most entertaining coach on RIO? ;)
Yeah sure, I also like Jason Somerville on twitch, he does his thing well, but I would not watch him just because I want to learn to play well.
I find it entertaining to watch a quality content, so most videos here are entertaining for me. :)
For MTTs Espen Sorlie is my favorite but as another poster said try and watch different ones and see who "speaks to you"
Chidwick and greenwood
